1【Teenager endures most deadly snake bite】少年被致命毒蛇咬伤幸免于难
TEXT:This is an Inland Taipan - many say, the world's most venomous snake. One drop of it's venom can kill 100 men, it's said, and a bite can result in death within 45 minutes. But a 17-year-old young man in Telerah, just north of Sydney, Australia survived this one's bite. Reptile rescuer Judy Martin was asked to identify the snake which was found around 1000km from its natural inland habitat. REPTILE RESCUER JUDY MARTIN: "We were shocked. We've never seen a Taipan before. They're not from this area and to have somebody bitten by an inland Taipan is quite serious." The teenager - who checked himself into hospital - is said to be in a critical condition. But his survival at all is remarkable. REPTILE RESCUER JUDY MARTIN: "He needs to take out a lottery ticket. He is extremely lucky to still be alive."

TEXT:U.S. President Barack Obama told the UN General Assembly Tuesday that there is still time for diplomacy when it comes to preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, while underscoring that the U.S. would not tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. (SOUNDBITE) (English)U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING: "Let me be clear: America wants to resolve this issue through diplomacy, and we believe that there is still time and space to do so. But that time is not unlimited." Obama said the U.S. will never let Iran develop an atomic bomb and then simply contain the problem. (SOUNDBITE) (English)U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING: "Make no mistake: a nuclear-armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained. It would threaten the elimination of Israel, the security of Gulf nations, and the stability of the global economy. It risks triggering a nuclear-arms race in the region, and the unraveling of the non-proliferation treaty. That is why a coalition of countries is holding the Iranian government accountable. And that is why the United States will do what we must to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon." But the Obama administration has stopped short of meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's demand to set a clear "red line" that Iran must not cross if it is to avoid military action.

3【Google chairman defends YouTube hosting anti-Islam film】谷歌董事长保留Youtube上反伊斯兰视频
TEXT:It's the film that has sparked protests throughout the Muslim world ... and even violence, and today Google's Executive Chairman explained why the video is still on the company's YouTube site. Eric Schmidt. GOOGLE'S EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN ERIC SCHMIDT SAYING: "We obviously do not endorse the use of the video or these ideas to incite hatred or violence or anything, but we ultimately believe that the best answer to speech is more speech, not the other way around." Google-owned YouTube has refused to removed to 13 minute anti-Islam film despite pressure from the White House. In Seoul to promote Google's new tablet computer, Schmidt acknowledged they have made exceptions. Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt saying: "Some countries disagree. There are some cases where we have had to actually block access to that video. And it is a good example of this particular problem." The video isn't available on their sites in Egypt, Libya, and other Mulsim countries.
