Journey to the West Chapter 11 Trouble in Heaven
《西游记》第十一章：大闹天宫
Erlang quickly tied up Wukong and brought him up to Heaven.
二郎神快速捆住了悟空，然后把他带上了天庭。
"I want Sun Wukong destroyed," said the Jade Emperor.
“我要处决孙悟空。”玉帝说。
Soldiers tied Wukong to a pillar in a courtyard. They struck him with swords. But his body was as hard as a diamond.
天兵天将将孙悟空绑在了院中的一根柱子上。他们用剑去捅他。但他的身体就跟金刚石一样坚硬。
The swords shattered.
剑都断掉了。
Wukong laughed. "Your swords can't hurt me!"
悟空大笑：“你们的剑根本伤不到我！”
The Jade Emperor turned to a messenger. "Bring in the fire gods."
玉帝转身看向信使：“请火神来。”
Several fire gods entered the courtyard and threw balls of flame at Wukong. The courtyard filled with smoke.
数位火神走入了院子，将火球扔向悟空。庭院里烟雾弥漫。
But when the smoke cleared, not one hair on Wukong's body was burned.
当烟气散去后，悟空身上连一根毛都没被烧着。
"Thank you!" Wukong laughed. "I was feeling a little cold!"
“谢谢你们！”悟空大笑，“我正觉得有点儿冷呢！”
"Gather the thunder gods," said the Jade Emperor.
“请雷神来！”玉帝说。
Several thunder gods entered the courtyard.
数位雷神走进了院子。
The Jade Emperor smiled as lightning bolts shot toward Wukong. But even the lightning couldn't harm the monkey.
雷电朝着悟空劈去，玉帝微笑地看着。但是，就连这雷电也无法伤到悟空。
"That tickled!" said Wukong with a smile.
“这简直是在给我挠痒痒！”悟空微笑着说。
The Jade Emperor shook his head. "It seems that Wukong can't be destroyed."
玉帝摇摇头。“我好像没办法杀死孙悟空了。”
"That's because he ate all the peaches," said Laozi. "Just one peach would make someone live forever. He ate every peach in the garden!"
“这是因为他吃了蟠桃。”太上老君说，“一个蟠桃就可以让人长生不老，他可是吃光了蟠桃园里的所有蟠桃！”
The emperor frowned. "Then how will we get rid of him?"
玉帝皱起了眉头。“那我们要怎么处置他？”
"I have an idea," said Laozi. "I'll put him in the large pot I use for making potions. Maybe we can burn him up slowly."
“我有个办法。”太上老君说，“我把他放在炼丹炉中，也许可以慢慢地把他烧化。”
"Perfect," said the Jade Emperor.
“太好了！”玉帝说。
Soldiers brought Wukong to a room in Laozi's palace.
天兵天将把悟空带到了太上老君宫殿中的一间房里。
A large pot sat in the middle of the room. Laozi put Wukong into the pot and then closed the lid.
房间正中央放着一口巨大的炼丹炉。太上老君将悟空扔进了炼丹炉，然后盖上了盖子。
Laozi started a fire under the pot. Day and night he tended the fire. He kept it burning for 49 days.
太上老君在炼丹炉下点了火，夜以继日地照看着炉火。大火整整烧了四十九天。
"Wukong must have been destroyed by now," thought Laozi.
“悟空现在一定已经化成灰了。”太上老君想。
He slowly took the lid off the pot. Smoke poured from the opening, and Wukong leaped out!
他慢慢地打开炼丹炉的盖子。一阵烟从炼丹炉里升起，孙悟空跳了出来！
The pot fell over. Burning pieces of coal flew everywhere. Wukong's eyes were red, and he was coughing.
炼丹炉倒在地上，燃烧着的煤四下飞溅。悟空的双眼通红，咳个不停。
"That smoke was horrible!" he cried. He pushed Laozi, knocking the sage onto his back.
“那烟实在太糟糕了！”他大叫。悟空一把推开太上老君，
Wukong pulled out his iron bar and smashed everything in the room.
随后抽出金箍棒，将炼丹房砸了个稀烂。
"Somebody, stop him!" cried Laozi.
“来人啊，快制止他！”太上老君大叫。
Wukong ran out of Laozi's palace. Gods and spirits fled as Wukong smashed everything in his path.
悟空从太上老君的宫里跑了出来，一路上大杀四方，天神们都逃跑了。
Laozi ran into the Cloud Palace.
太上老君冲进了凌霄宝殿。
"Your Majesty, Wukong is causing trouble all over Heaven!" he said.
“陛下，悟空搅乱了整个天庭！”他说。
"What!" cried the emperor. "He's alive?"
“什么！”玉帝大叫，“他还活着？”
"Yes," said Laozi. "I took the lid off the pot because I thought he was burned up. But the fire didn't hurt him at all."
“是的！”太上老君说，“我觉得他已经被烧化了，所以我就打开了丹炉的盖子。但那丹炉里的火一点儿都没伤到他。”
"This is an outrage!" said the Jade Emperor. "What are we going to do with that monkey?"
“气死我了！”玉帝说，“我们到底该拿那猴子怎么办？”
The emperor thought for a moment.
玉帝思考了一会儿。
"We must ask Buddha for help," he said. He turned to a messenger.
“我们必须请如来佛祖来帮忙。”他说。他转向一个信使：
"Go to the Western Paradise quickly. See if Buddha can come to help us."
“速去西天。看看如来佛祖能不能过来帮助我们。”
Flying as fast as he could, the messenger headed toward the Western Paradise.
信使用最快速度朝着西天赶去。
Everybody hid indoors as Wukong ran through Heaven.
悟空在天庭四处乱窜，众神都躲在房里。
Using his iron bar, he smashed doors and windows and knocked over statues.
悟空用他的金箍棒乱砸门窗，将各处的雕像都打翻了。
Suddenly he stopped.
突然，他停了下来。
Before him was a huge figure, glowing with golden light.
在他面前出现了一个巨大的身形，浑身闪烁着金光。
"What do you want?" asked Wukong.
“你想干什么？”悟空问。
"I am Buddha," said the figure. "Who are you, and why are you causing all this trouble?"
“我是如来佛祖。”那人说，“你是谁，为何惹出这些麻烦？”
Wukong smiled. "I am Sun Wukong, king of the Fruit and Flower Mountain.
悟空笑了一下。“我是孙悟空，花果山之王。
I should be the king of Heaven too! I'm going to the Cloud Palace to tell the Jade Emperor to leave.
我应该是这天庭的主人！我要去凌霄宝殿，让那玉帝让位！
If he doesn't, I'll never stop causing trouble!"
他要是不让，我就不住手！”
