Then they were going to bury her, but she still looked as if she were living, and still had her pretty red cheeks.

They said: "We could not bury her in the dark ground," and they had a coffin of glass made, so that she could be seen from all sides, and they laid her in it, and wrote her name upon it in golden letters, and that she was a King's daughter.
他们说：“我们不能把她埋在黑暗的地下，”他们为她做了一个玻璃棺材，从四面八方都能看见她，他们把她放进棺材里，上面用金字写着她的名字，说她是国王的女儿。
Then they put the coffin out upon the hill, and one of them always stayed by it and watched it. And birds came too, and wept for Snow-white; first an owl, then a raven, and last a dove.
然后他们把棺材抬到小山上，总有一个人站在旁边看着。鸟儿也来了，为白雪公主哭泣;先是猫头鹰，然后是乌鸦，最后是鸽子。
And now Snow-white lay a long, long time in the coffin, and she did not change, but looked as if she were asleep; for she was as white as snow, as red as blood, and her hair was as black as ebony.
现在，白雪公主在棺材里躺了很长很长时间，她没有变，但是看起来好像睡着了；因为她的皮肤像雪一样白，嘴唇像血一样红，她的头发像乌木一样漆黑。
It happened that a King's son came into the wood, and went to the dwarfs' house to spend the night. He saw the coffin on the hill, and the beautiful Snow-white within it, and read what was written upon it in golden letters.
国王的儿子来到森林里，来到小矮人们的房子里过夜。他看到了小山上的棺材，还有棺材里美丽的白雪公主，他读了上面用金色字母写的字。
Then he said to the dwarfs: "Let me have the coffin, I will give you whatever you want for it." But the dwarfs answered: "We will not part with it for all the gold in the world."
然后他对小矮人们说：“把棺材给我吧，你们要多少我就给你们多少。”小矮人们回答说：“即使我们得到世界上所有的金子，我们也不会放弃它。”
Then he said: "Let me have it as a gift, for I cannot live without seeing Snow-white. I will honor and prize her as the dearest thing I have."
然后他说：“把它作为礼物送给我吧，因为我不能没有看到白雪公主。”我要把她当作我最心爱的人来尊敬和珍惜。”
As he spoke in this way the good dwarfs took pity upon him, and gave him the coffin. And now the King's son had it carried away by his servants on their shoulders.
当他这样说的时候，善良的小矮人们可怜他，把棺材给了他。现在王子让他的仆人把它扛在肩上带走了。
And it happened that they stumbled over a tree-stump, and with the shock the piece of apple which Snow-white had bitten off came out of her throat. And before long she opened her eyes, lifted up the lid of the coffin, sat up, and was once more alive.
碰巧他们被一个树桩绊了一跤，白雪公主咬掉的那块苹果从她的喉咙里掉了出来。不久，她睁开眼睛，掀起棺材盖，坐起来，又活了过来。
"Oh, heavens, where am I?" she cried. The King's son, full of joy, said: "You are with me," and told her what had happened, and said, "I love you more than everything in the world; come with me to my father's palace; you shall be my wife."
“哦，天哪，我在哪儿?”王子高兴地说：“你和我在一起。”他把事情的经过告诉了她，说：
“我爱你胜过世界上的一切;跟我到我父亲的宫殿去；你将成为我的妻子。”
Snow-white was willing, and went with him, and their wedding was held with great show and splendor. The wicked Queen was also bidden to the feast.
白雪公主答应了，和他一起去了，他们举行了盛大的婚礼。邪恶的王后也被邀请参加宴会。
When she had put on her beautiful clothes, she went before the Looking-glass, and said: "Looking-glass, Looking-glass, on the wall, who in this land is the fairest of all?"
当她穿上美丽的衣服以后，她走到镜子面前说：“魔镜啊，魔镜，墙上的魔镜，在这片土地上谁是世界上最美丽的人?”
The Glass answered: "O Queen, of all here the fairest art thou, but the young Queen is fairer by far I trow."
魔镜回答说：“哦，王后，你是这儿最漂亮的。不过，年轻的王后要漂亮得多。”
Then the wicked woman gave a scream, and was so wretched, so utterly wretched, that she knew not what to do.
这时，那个坏女人发出一声尖叫，她是那么痛苦，那么彻底地痛苦，她不知道该怎么办。
At first she would not go to the wedding at all, but she had no peace, and must go to see the young Queen. And when she went in she knew Snow-white; and she stood still with rage and fear, and could not stir.
一开始，她根本不愿意去参加婚礼，但是她心绪不宁，必须去见年轻的王后。当她进去的时候，她认识了白雪公主;她又气又怕，站在那里一动也不动。
But iron slippers had already been put upon the fire, and they were brought in with tongs, and set before her. Then she was forced to put on the red hot shoes, and dance until she dropped down dead.
但是铁鞋已经放在火上了，用火钳把它们拿进来，放在她面前。于是她不得不穿上那双又红又热的鞋子，跳起舞来，直到她倒地死去。
