Journey to the West Chapter 24 The Great King Yellow Wind
《西游记》第二十四章：黄风怪
Wukong and Bajie looked all around. But the Tang Monk was gone.
悟空和八戒四处都看过了，但唐僧并不在。
"That tiger ate our master," said Bajie. He shrugged.
“那只老虎把我们的师父吃掉了。” 八戒说。他耸耸肩。
"I guess we don't have to protect him anymore. Good-bye, Wukong!"
“我想我们不用再保护他了。再见，悟空！”
The pig started to walk away.But Wukong grabbed him.
八戒准备离开了。悟空抓住了他。
"You're not leaving!" said the monkey. "We have to save our master.
“你不能走！” 悟空说，“我们必须救我们的师父。
That tiger said he works for a demon, the great king Yellow Wind. The king's cave must be nearby."
那只老虎说他是给一个叫黄风怪的妖怪干活。那个妖怪的洞穴一定就在这附近。”
The tiger entered his master's cave. The Tang Monk was slumped over the tiger's shoulder.
老虎进入了他主人的洞穴。唐僧被老虎扛在肩膀上。
The great king Yellow Wind was sitting on his throne."Great king!" cried the tiger. "I found the Tang Monk!"
黄风怪坐在他的宝座上。“大王！” 老虎大叫，“我找到唐僧了！”
The demon king looked surprised and happy.
妖怪看上去又吃惊又高兴。
"I have heard that anyone who eats the Tang Monk will live forever. Was the monk alone?"
“我听说吃了唐僧肉可以长生不老。那和尚是一个人吗？”
"He had two companions," said the tiger. "One is a pig. The other is a monkey."
“他有两个同伴。” 老虎说，“一个是猪，另一个是猴子。”
Yellow Wind trembled. "A monkey?" he said.
黄风怪颤抖了一下。“猴子？” 他说，
"He must be Sun Wukong—the monkey who caused all that trouble in Heaven!"
“那一定是孙悟空，那只大闹天宫的猴子！”
"Maybe," said the tiger. "But don't worry. I distracted them with a fake tiger skin. They'll never find us."
“可能吧。” 老虎说，“别担心。我用假的老虎皮把他们引开了。他们不会找到我们的。”
The tiger patted his stomach and looked at the Tang Monk.
老虎拍了拍肚子，看着唐僧。
"I'll tell the other demons to start a fire and prepare some seasoning."Yellow Wind held up his hand.
“我去告诉其他小妖点起火来，准备些调料。”黄风怪举起了一只手。
"Sun Wukong is powerful. He and that pig might come looking for the monk.
“孙悟空很厉害。他和那只猪可能会来找这个和尚。
"They'll be angry if they find out we ate him. Let's wait until they leave the area. Then we'll be able to enjoy our meal."
如果他们发现我们吃了这和尚，他们一定会生气。我们等到他们离开这里之后再吃吧。到时候我们就能享用大餐了。”
A small demon ran into the throne room. "Great king!" cried the demon.
一个小妖跑进了正殿。“大王！” 那小妖叫道。
"There are two strangers outside—a monkey and a pig.
“外面有两个陌生人—一只猴子和一头猪。
They said to hand over the Tang Monk. If we don't, they'll destroy our entire mountain!"
他们说让我们把唐僧交出来。如果我们不交，他们就毁了我们整座山！”
"Oh no," moaned Yellow Wind. "This is bad!""Don't worry, King," said the tiger. "I will get rid of them."
“哦不！” 黄风怪嘀咕道，“这太可恶了！”“别担心，大王。” 老虎说，“我会搞定他们的。”
The tiger walked out of the throne room. The small demon followed him.
老虎走出了正殿。小妖跟在他后面。
Outside the cave there was some yelling and then a crashing sound.
洞穴外面传来了叫嚷声和撞击的声音 。
A moment later the small demon ran back in. "Great king, disaster!" he cried.
过了一会儿，那小妖跑回来了。“大王，糟了！” 他大叫，
"The tiger is dead! The pig killed him with his rake!"
“老虎死了！那头猪用钉耙把它打死了！”
"What?" cried Yellow Wind. He stood up and grabbed a trident.
“什么？” 黄风怪大叫。他站起来抓过一支三股钢叉。
He puffed out his chest and stomped out of the cave. He saw Wukong.
他挺胸大步走出了洞穴。他看到了悟空。
"So you're the monkey who caused all the trouble in Heaven," said Yellow Wind.
“你就是那只大闹天宫的猴子。” 黄风怪说。
"Hand over the Tang Monk!" demanded Wukong.
把唐僧交出来！” 悟空命令道。
"I didn't know you were so small," said Yellow Wind.
“我不知道你是这么个小猴子。” 黄风怪说。
"Hit me on the head," said the monkey. "I'll grow bigger."
“打我的脑袋。” 悟空说，“我会变大的。”
The demon king hesitated. "Go ahead!" said Wukong.
妖怪犹豫了一下。“来啊！” 悟空说。
Yellow Wind knocked the monkey on the head. Instantly Wukong grew tall.
黄风怪打了猴子的脑袋。悟空立刻变高了。
"Now I'll hit you!" cried Wukong. He swung his iron bar.
“现在轮到我打你了！” 悟空大叫。他挥舞起了金箍棒。
Crash! The demon king blocked the bar with his trident.
嘣！妖怪用他的三股钢叉挡住了金箍棒。
Clang! The two fought up and down the side of the mountain.
咣当！这两个人在山上山下打个不停。
"I'll use some magic," thought the monkey.
我得用些法术。” 悟空想。
He grabbed a handful of hair and blew on it. Dozens of little Wukongs ran toward the demon king.
他抓下一把毫毛吹了口气。几十个小悟空向妖怪冲过去。
Yellow Wind laughed. "I know a magic trick too!" He looked down and blew three times.
黄风怪笑了：“我也会法术！” 他低下头吹了三口气。
The sky grew dark. A powerful yellow wind whipped across the mountain.
天空变暗了。山上刮起了猛烈的黄风。
Trees shook and rocks tumbled.Wukong, Bajie, and all the little Wukongs tumbled down the mountain.
树木晃动，石头滚动。悟空、八戒和所有的小悟空都跌下了山。
They landed at the bottom in a cloud of dust. The demon king went back into his cave and slammed the door shut.
他们倒在了山底，扬起一阵尘土。妖怪走回了自己的洞穴，关上了门。
