- There was once a Bald Man who sat down after work on a hot summer's day.
- 从前有一个秃头男人在一个炎热的夏日干完活后坐下来休息。
- A Fly came up and kept buzzing about his bald pate, and stinging him from time to time.
- 一只苍蝇飞过来,一直绕着他光秃秃的脑袋嗡嗡叫,还不时地叮他。
- The Man aimed a blow at his little enemy, but wack, his palm came on his head instead; again the Fly tormented him, but this time the Man was wiser and said:
- 男人瞄准他的小敌人打了一拳,但奇怪的是,他却打在了自己的头上;苍蝇又来折磨他,但这一次男人变得更聪明了,他说:
- "You will only injure yourself if you take notice of despicable enemies."
- “如果去在意卑劣的敌人,反而会身受其害。”
