Unit 17 Pilgrimage
第17单元 朝圣
White. As far as he could see. A sea of white. This was Mohammad's dream. He had spent a whole year working and saving up enough money for his trip.
白色，举目望去都是白色，一大片白色。这是穆罕穆德做的梦。为了踏上旅程，他花了一整年的时间工作，并存到足够的钱。
After a lot of hard work, he flew to Mecca to partake in the world's biggest pilgrimage. Now, he walked with over a million people, all dressed in white. Men, woman and children. It was going to be a challenging three days with very little food and water.
经过不停地努力工作，他终于飞到麦加准备参加世界上最大的朝圣之旅。如今，他和一百多万人一起走着路，大家都穿着白色衣服，其中有男有女，也有小孩在里面。仅靠极少量的食物和水要撑过三天，将会是一项艰难的挑战。
On the first day, Mohammad was excited. He talked to people he met along the journey. The sun was very hot. By the second day, he was tired and the sun seemed much hotter.
第一天，穆罕穆德还蛮兴奋的，旅途中也会和他遇到的人交谈。那天太阳很大。第二天，穆罕穆德开始觉得累，而且太阳似乎更热了。
There were people everywhere, in front of him, behind him. Sometimes he tripped and fell onto people. But, it would all be worth it. "After the pilgrimage, I will ba a new man. I will feel closer to Allah."
他前后到处都是人，有时还会失足跌倒撞到别人。不过他心想这一切都是值得的，因为朝圣后，我就是新的人，更会有和真神阿拉靠得更近的感觉。
The third day came, and he finished tired and sore. He had done what he came to do. He was very proud of himself.
到了第三天，他终于带着全身的疲惫和酸痛完成朝圣之旅。他完成了他这一趟旅行的目的，替自己感到非常骄傲。
