Victoria: If you are to choose one landmark to represent the national spirit of America, which one will you choose?
Daisy: I would go for the Statue of Liberty in New York. It can effectually stand for the American Dream which has attracted millions of immigrants to this land.
Victoria: What is the American Dream?
Daisy: The American Dream is a belief that you can be what you want to be as long as you work hard, and that everyone has the potential to lead a happy and successful life. These ideals are as old as, or even older than the nation.
Victoria: Does the American dream still hold true today?
Daisy: Many critics have pointed out the inequality in the structure of the society. At the same time, its meaning is being enriched by generations after generations.
Victoria: I don't think absolute equality will ever be reached. However, it is something always worth striving for.
