After staying on China's space station for more than a month,

the Shenzhou-18 crew conducted their first extravehicular activities on Tuesday, carrying out a series of important missions.

This mission marks the 15th extravehicular activity for Chinese taikonauts on China's Space Station.

Shenzhou-18 commander Ye Guangfu and crew member Li Guangsu conducted the extravehicular activities, while crew member Li Cong assisted from inside the station.

With the help of the robot arms, the commander Ye Guangfu installed the protective device and then checked the solar panel of the Wentian lab module.

Crew member Li Guangsu climbed to two areas of the Wentian module to inspect them, before moving on to the Mengtian lab module to inspect three areas there.
