第十七章 致富的科学真谛
THERE is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
有一种会思考的源物质，世上所有事物的形成皆源自于它。最初，这一物质本是宇宙的填充物，宇宙的每一丝空隙都由它占据着。
A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
首先，在这种物质当中出现了思想，接着，思想再按照其想像的模式制造出世间万物。
Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
人类的思想可造万物，而且通过让自己的思想作用于无形的源物质，人类就能够将脑海中的想像变为现实。
In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind;
为了让这些信念植根于我们的脑海当中，人类必须首先转变思想，彻底抛弃那些不正当竞争的观点，让创造思想植根于脑海当中，
otherwise he cannot be in harmony with the Formless Intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit.
不然，我们就无法与神奇的宇宙以及无形的物质保持和谐的关系，因为他们倡导的正是创造精神，而不正当竞争从来就不是他的意愿。
Man may come into full harmony with the Formless Substance by entertaining a lively and sincere gratitude for the blessings it bestows upon him.
人类要想与宇宙和谐相处，惟一途径就是始终怀着一颗感恩的心，在每次接受上天赐予的同时对生活致以最诚挚的谢意。
Gratitude unifies the mind of man with the intelligence of Substance, so that man's thoughts are received by the Formless.
感恩能够使人类的思想始终都与深邃的宇宙和无形的物质牢牢联系在一起，而只有这样他们才能收到人类发出的祈求。
Man can remain upon the creative plane only by uniting himself with the Formless Intelligence through a deep and continuous feeling of gratitude.
深沉且一如既往的感恩之情能够将人类与无形的物质紧密联系在一起，而只有当人类与它一脉相承时，人类才能获得创造思想。
Man must form a clear and definite mental image of the things he wishes to have, to do, or to become;
人必须对自己希望获得的事物有一个清晰明确地认识和规划，也必须清楚自己需要做什么。
and he must hold this mental image in his thoughts, while being deeply grateful to the Supreme that all his desires are granted to him.
对于将来，人必须有一个透彻的认识，即我们每个人的脑海里都应该有一幅关于将来、关于梦想的蓝图。人必须感谢神奇的宇宙，因为正是他赐予我们如此多的希望和欲望。
The man who wishes to get rich must spend his leisure hours in contemplating his Vision, and in earnest thanksgiving that the reality is being given to him.
任何一个渴望财富的人，在真诚地感激世界让自已拥有如此美好的现实之余，都必须始终牢记脑海中的那幅梦想蓝图，并利用一切可以利用的时间来思考它，不断地对其加以补充和完善。
Too much stress cannot be laid on the importance of frequent contemplation of the mental image, coupled with unwavering faith and devout gratitude.
关于反复思考梦想蓝图的重要性，我想，怎么强调都不为过，因为它和坚定的信念以及虔诚的感恩之心一起，
This is the process by which the impression is given to the Formless, and the creative forces set in motion.
构成了人类向宇宙传递个人意愿过程中不可或缺的三要素，同时，它们也是促使创造力行动起来的催化剂。
The creative energy works through the established channels of natural growth, and of the industrial and social order.
创造能量正是通过自然界以及工业社会里早已建立起来的各种渠道发挥其巨大的威力。
All that is included in his mental image will surely be brought to the man who follows the instructions given above, and whose faith does not waver.
任何一个依照上述指示去做，并且始终坚持自己信念的人，最终都能够将脑海中的那幅梦想蓝图变为现实。
What he wants will come to him through the ways of established trade and commerce.
他想要的一切必将通过各种商业或贸易的方式来到他的身边。
In order to receive his own when it shall come to him, man must be active; and this activity can only consist in more than filling his present place.
要想在这些事物到来时能够将它们尽收怀中，人必须首先行动起来，而任何行动都必须从做好眼前的工作开始。
He must keep in mind the Purpose to get rich through the realization of his mental image.
他必须始终牢记自已最初的目标：通过实现脑海中的梦想蓝图成功致富。
And he must do, every day, all that can be done that day, taking care to do each act in a successful manner.
为此，他必须全力以赴地做好每天的全部工作，同时保证每件工作都能以最高的效率完成。
He must give to every man a use value in excess of the cash value he receives, so that each transaction makes for more life;
对于那些给自己带来货币财富的人，他回报予其的无形财富的价值必须远远超过当初所获得的货币财富的价值，只有这样，他才能让自己的每次交易都创造出更多的财富以及更好的机会。
and he must so hold the Advancing Thought that the impression of increase will be communicated to all with whom he comes in contact.
他必须让进步的思想贯穿于自己的全部言行当中，也只有这样，他才能让所有与他接触的人都感受到这一思想的神奇魅力。
The men and women who practice the foregoing instructions will certainly get rich;
任何人，无论男女老少，只要他（她）执行了上述规则，就一定能够成功致富，
and the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude.
而决定他们财富多寡的正是我一再强调的：梦想蓝图是否清晰，行动目标是否明确，心中信念的坚定与否以及感恩之情的深浅。
