This is Everyday Grammar. I'm Kaveh.
欢迎收看《每日语法》栏目,我是卡维。
And I'm Lucija. Hey, Kaveh, you're looking a bit tanned. Did you go to the beach?
我是露西佳,嗨,卡维,你皮肤看起来有点晒黑了,你去海边了吗?
I did. I went to Florida last weekend. Have you ever gone to Florida?
是的,上周去了佛罗里达,你去过佛罗里达州吗?
Sure I have. I have gone there two years ago.
当然去过,两年前去过。
Wait. You mean, you went there two years ago.
等一下,你是说,你两年前去过.
What's the difference?
有什么区别?
Good question. You're asking about the difference between the simple past and present perfect verb tenses.
问的好!你问的是一般过去时和现在完成时的区别,
"I went to Florida" is in the simple past.
“I went to Florida”是一般过去时,
You use the simple past to talk about a past event that happened at a certain time.
一般过去时用来讲述发生在过去特定时间的事件。
OK, that makes sense. But what about "I have gone?"
那好吧,有道理。那“I have gone”这个表述呢?
I have gone to Florida is in the present perfect. It shows that a past event happened at an unknown time.
“I have gone to Florida”是现在完成时,它表明过去发生的这件事情时间未知。
Wait. If it's about the past, why is it called the present perfect?
等一下,如果是关于过去的事,为什么叫现在完成?
Well, it's to emphasize the present effect of a past action.
这个是为了强调过去动作对现在的影响。例如:
I have graduated from college.
我从大学毕业的。
I graduated from college.
我从大学毕业了。
Interesting. That's a lot to think about. Is there an easier way to remember?
很有趣,这要求脑容量比较大,有没有更简单的记忆方法?
As a matter of fact there is. Focus on the adverbs.
事实上有,关注副词,
Adverbs like yesterday, ago, and last night go with the simple past.
像yesterday/ago/last night这类时间副词都和一般现在时同时出现,
Adverbs like never, already, for and since, they go with the present perfect.
像never/already/for/since这类词都和现在完成时如影随形。
Wow! I have never thought of it like that before.
哇哦!我以前从未这样想过。
