This is Everyday Grammar. I'm Lucija.
欢迎收看《每日语法》栏目,我是露西佳。
And I'm Kaveh. And today we'll be talking about the simple future tense.
我是卡维,今天我们讲讲一般将来时。
Hello. Hi, Lucija. I just wanna let you know, we will go to dinner at eight.
喂。嗨,露西佳,我只想让你知道,今晚八点一起吃晚餐。
Kaveh, you mean, "We are going to go to dinner at eight."
卡维,你想说“We are going to go to dinner at eight.(我们今晚八点去吃晚餐。)”
Right. That's what I said.
对,我是那个意思。
I think you are getting your future tenses mixed up. Let me explain. Will
我想你将一般将来时弄混了,下面让我来讲解一下Will的用法。
Will expresses a desire or agreement to do something… or a sudden decision.
Will是用来表述渴望或同意做某事,抑或是突然的决定。例如:
I will help you with your homework.
我会辅导你家庭作业。
I will get the phone!
我来接电话。
So what about be going to?
那be going to怎么用?
Be going to. You use be going to when you already have a plan to do something.
Be going to.在你已经想好了计划的情况下,要用be going to。例如:
I am going to study grammar more often. Exactly.
我会经常学习语法的。完全正确!
Phew. I was afraid I was gonna mess that one up.
哎呀,我觉得我会把那个搞混淆。
Now you're speaking like a real American.
现在你说起话来像个真正的美国人了。
Remember, when you want to make a prediction about the future, you can use will or be going to. The meaning is the same.
记住,如果你想预测未来,你可以用will或be going to,这两个意思一样。例如:
I will be famous someday…
某天我一定会成名。
Or I am going to be famous someday.
或者是某天我会成名。
Thanks so much for the grammar lesson. So are we going to have dinner tonight or what?
谢谢你分享这么多语法知识,那晚上我们一起吃晚饭吗?还是其他什么事儿?
Sure. I'll pick you up at 7:30.
当然,我七点半去接你。
And that's Everyday Grammar.
