Over 1000 years ago, people began to question whether men were really so much wiser, stronger, altogether more sensible and simply better than women as the laws of the country made out.
In the end, women got the vote, and very recently, in 1975, the Sex Discrimination Act was passed.
But it's doubtful whether legislation has changed the way we women actually think.

In this new series, we are going to try to find out what people are really thinking and feeling about this problem, and how it affects their personal lives.
