I stared out at the rough surf after he answered, not sure what my face was exposing.

"You have goose bumps," he laughed delightedly.

"You're a good storyteller," I complimented him, still staring into the waves.
“你是个很棒的说故事的人。”我称赞他，依然盯着阵阵浪涛。
"Pretty crazy stuff, though, isn't it? No wonder my dad doesn't want us to talk about it to anyone."
“不过，确实是相当疯狂的内容，不是吗？难怪我爸不让我们跟任何人说这些。”
I couldn't control my expression enough to look at him yet. "Don't worry, I won't give you away."
我依然没法控制自己的表情，只好不去看他。“别担心，我不会出卖你的。”
"I guess I just violated the treaty," he laughed.
“我想，我刚刚违背了条约。”他大笑起来。
"I'll take it to the grave," I promised, and then I shivered.
“我会把它带进坟墓的。”我保证道，然后哆嗦起来。
"Seriously, though, don't say anything to Charlie. He was pretty mad at my dad when he heard that some of us weren't going to the hospital since Dr. Cullen started working there."

《暮色》（twilight）该作品融合了吸血鬼、狼人、校园、爱情等元素，几乎处处都有矛盾，处处都有点。作品的语言简练有力，很好的作品。融合多元素的东西，用文字表达是恰如其分的，因为文字的细腻能满足这些元素碰撞，发展的需要。Edward对贝拉的兴趣来自于自己的读心术对贝拉无效，并且贝拉的血有一种强烈的气味唤醒了他内心对活人血的渴望。贝拉都是知道这些的，但她还是选择了和Edward走在了一起。爱的超级勇敢，简直可以说是彪悍，贝拉柔弱的身体竟然爆发如此大的爱情力量，确实让人感到震撼。
