It's been 12 days since a Malaysia Airlines Jetliner vanished without a trace. For the families and loved ones of the 239 people aboard patience is running thin....
(SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN WHOSE SON WAS ON BOARD THE MISSING MALAYSIAN PLANE SAYING: "We don't know how long we'll have to wait. It's been 12 days, my loved one... I don't know where my loved one is... it's been 12 days, where is my son? Why are you not giving me any answers?"
About two thirds of flight MH370 were Chinese and many families travelled to Kuala Lumpur for news, after the aircraft went missing from the Malaysian capital. Tensions boiled over ahead of a news conference, as relatives vented their anger at the airline.
(SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN WEARING FACE MASK SAYING: "They have followed us, taken care of us very well. However, we don't need to be looked after, we need to know the truth! We need to know where the plane is, we don't need someone to look after us everyday."
Two women were dragged from the daily briefing for journalists by Malaysian police. The pair were forcibly removed after trying to unfurl a banner. One was knocked over in the confusion. Malaysian and U.S. officials believe the aircraft was deliberately diverted perhaps thousands of miles off course, but a background search of the passengers and crew aboard has not yielded any clues.

More than two thousand north African migrants make it to safety after Italian naval and coast guard vessels come to their rescue. The rescue underscores the scale of illegal migration into southern Europe. The 48 hour mission was carried out off the southern coast of Sicily, and follows a similar rescue of some 500 just a day before. But the problem is not new. Italy has struggled for decades with a steady stream of people traveling in small, unsafe boats from North Africa. But since the turmoil of the Arab Spring beginning in 2011, the number coming to Italy from that region is on the rise -- with no end in sight. Italy increased its naval and air patrols off the coast of Sicily after hundreds of migrants drowned last year in two separate disasters.
Libyan rebel leader calls US Navy "pirates" after tanker seized
The US naval forces seized the tanker full of oil after it had sailed from this rebel held port in the east of Libya. Ibrahim Jathran and his followers are seeking greater autonomy in the eastern area and have blocked several ports. This tanker was his latest attempt to export oil independently of Tripoli. Jathran described the U.S. navy operation as "piracy".
(SOUNDBITE)(Arabic) LIBYAN REBEL LEADER, IBRAHIM JATHRAN, SAYING: "While it was travelling in international waters, the militias of the Muslim Brotherhood and their allies and criminals opened fire, as it was heading to Cyprus for repairs. The operation by the U.S. Navy was piracy."
The port blockage has crippled the OPEC country's finances as its main revenue stream remains shut.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) LIBYA ACTING OIL MINISTER, OMAR SHAKMAK, SAYING: "Oil exports in the past two or three weeks was between 100 thousand and 120 thousand barrels per day which is considered our lowest production level."
The conflict reflects the wider chaos in Libya, as the government struggles to rein in militias that helped overthrow former leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
