TUTOR: Sarah, I have seen your research outline and I really love your topic: mediation skills. It is the major ingredient of the interpersonal relationship studies.
STUDENT: Yeah, that's sort of my concern. I would like to do some research that win be helpful to the people, for instance, helping a couple that is having problems in their relationships or parents who are having trouble with a teenager.
TUTOR: That's right. What you need to do after you have done literature review is to develop a series of steps that lead people to identify their problems and create the appropriate solutions.
STUDENT: That is my major problem, Professor Haltman. You see, I have gathered abundant information, but feel confused as to how to sort them out.
TUTOR: Let's see what you have got... OK, I think maybe you could start with the environment Hypothetically, you want to be a counselor.
