SECTION 2
Welcome to Blue National Park. My name is Sam, and I am going to be your guide today. I think you have noticed that Blue National Park protects diverse forests and spectacular coastlines. The park incorporates several off-shore islands, including Fossil Island. Hippolyte Rocks and Tasman Island. Not surprisingly, the park offers some of the best coastal walks in the country. You may find many interesting rock formations along the coastline, while the southern end of the park has some of the highest and most spectacular sea cliffs in Australia. The park is also home to a wide range of land and marine animals, and several species of rare plant. I'm sure you will have a great day in the park.
Let's start what there is to do. As you can see here on our giant wall plan, we are now situated in the Reception block... here. The small map have just handed out to you is very important, because you don't want to lose your way in the park. In the park, you could go camping, bushwalking, picnicking, sightseeing, swimming and fishing. As day visitors, we have our schedule pretty tight. The good news is that the weather in park today is fantastic! OK, here are the choices. If you choose boating, the waters off Pirates Bay and Port Arthur are popular boating destinations because of the beauty erf the area. the sheltered waters and good fishing. If you are a fan of rockclimbing, you want to go to the columns and cliffs along the coastline of the National Park, "Totem pole"
at Cape Hauy for example. Bushwalking tracks are found throughout the park. Walks vary from pleasant strolls along the beach and rocks to longer and more energetic walks. Please note that Blue National Park is a fuel stove only area, which means camp fires are not permitted outside the designated areas.
