Now Afghanistan has released 100 Taliban prisoners.
It claims they were among the 5,000 detainees to be freed under the deal signed between Taliban and the US.
The Taliban says they have yet to verify those released were on the list.
The U.S Taliban deal was assigned in February it also calls for the Taliban to free 1000 government personnel they had hostage.
The Taliban had a promised earlier they're released prisoners will not go back to the battlefield.
The prisoner release it considered as a critical first step to bring an end to decades of war.
