Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) rejection of Iran's application for a loan to find the coronavirus is unacceptable and unfair. Rouhani said Iran has paid its share for the IMF and the World Bank. And the IMF must fulfill its duty. Iran's central bank has asked the organization for a loan of five billion US dollars to combat the pandemic. The country's the worst hit in the Middle East. But reports say the United States has blocked Iran's request for the emergency loan.
