Many of the shooting survivors remain in critical condition and some are requiring blood donations.
But over the past day, blood donation centers have seen thousands of people standing for hours in the heat, queuing to give blood.
The lines wrap all the way around the complex and stretched on for miles.
While people queued, more cars were pulling into the compound.
They were parked on the grass and the sidewalks to get in line.
Others helped to pass out water, food and sunscreen.
The overwhelming turnout led to minor traffic congestions in the area and some donors were even asked to make an appointment to come back another time.
