Wicked is undoubtedly one of the most beloved musicals of all time. And I would love to know a little bit more about those conversations that you had with Jon when he approached you with the idea of playing Madam Morrible.

I actually laughed at him. Because I've never sang in my life not as professionally.

I would love to know you know Ari and Cynthia opted to sing their singings live. What was your approach?

No way, man. Singing is one thing. Right? Bursting other people to your drums is another thing. I mean Ariana and Cynthia have the most angelic voices.

They are incredible and I think you've heard them before and you will continue to hear them. So when you walk on set and they're singing, even warming up, it's angels.

You talk about this trust with Jon and you know I'm not afraid to say it. He is such a master at this genre with the you know the performances and the visuals and you know everything just coming together.

I think Jon has been working towards Wicked all his life. I think from the beginning, from the moment he knew that he wanted, this is what he wanted.

But seeing Jon after we did a crazy rotations in 2017, so this is quite a few years later and but I always believed in his talent, in his gift. He's amazing storyteller.

But what he does is like he makes you believe that the story is coming from you and you are the one which is true, that you are the one who's bringing it to life.

He helps you bring it to life. He gives you all the tools and necessary means. Then when you have an amazing DP like in Alice Brooks you know, they capture all these different senses.
