Japan's legendary figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, who won gold in the men's singles at both the 2014 Sochi and 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics,

Making the announcement at a news conference in Tokyo, the 27-year-old said that he saw the next stage of his skating career as a beginning, not an end.
