Billie Eilish recorded the love song when she was only 14. Her brother, Finneas O' Connell, is not only the sole writer of the song, but also its sole producer.

这首歌其实唯一的词曲作者和制作者就是Billie的哥哥，

之前节目里推荐过的宝藏男孩Finneas O’ Connell。

看歌词就很是他平时写love song的风格：

这是一首很深情的关于爱情的歌，把对方的眼睛比喻成海洋。

配上Billie很空灵的嗓音，很有意境。

Finneas originally wrote "Ocean Eyes" for his band but he let his sister have it when she needed a song to choreograph a dance to.

原本这首歌是要给自己的乐队的，后来因为妹妹说舞蹈老师希望有一首歌给她编舞，然后很宠妹的Finneas就这样把这首歌给了Billie。

Eilish recalled to Vogue:

"We put it on SoundCloud with a free download link next to it so my dance teacher could access it. We had no intentions for it, really. But basically overnight a ton of people started hearing it and sharing it.

Hillydilly, a music discovery website, found it and posted it and it just got bigger and bigger. It was really surreal. Then, Danny Ruckasin, who is now my manager, reached out to my brother and was like, 'dude, this is going to get huge and I think you're going to need help along the way. I want to help you guys.' We were like, 'that's swag!'"

That' SWAG--酷爆了。

Billie的成名完全是没有预料到的。她只是把这首歌传到一个叫SoundCloud的音频分享平台，为了方便老师下载，没想到一夜之间这首歌就火了。

后来她现在的经纪人Danny Ruckasin找到了她希望跟她合作。

有些人注定是巨星。

这首歌的MV有两个版本，最初的版本是很难见的Billie跳舞的视频。

真是宝藏女孩，原来她从八岁就开始学跳舞了。

一向穿宽大衣服的Billie也难得一见地穿紧身的舞蹈衣跳舞，

或许因为那时候的她还没有暴露在公众之下，不用担心被评判。

After Billie became famous, she’s always wearing baggy clothes in the public, because Billie says she doesn’t want to be judged by her body shape.

She once said,

"I mean, that’s why I wear big baggy clothes: Nobody can have an opinion, because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know?

Nobody can be like, ‘She’s slim-thick’, ‘She’s not slim-thick’, ‘She’s got a flat ass’, ‘She got a fat ass’.

Nobody can say any of that, because they don’t know."

Billie成名后几乎每次出现在公众视野都是穿着很宽大的衣服，因为她觉得不想因为身材而被别人评判。

没想到上个月Billie还因为一张出街照被嘲发胖了，

有很mean的网友甚至说她“疫情隔离短短十个月，Billie已经变成一个30岁酗酒大妈的模样。”

所幸Billie根本不吃这一套。

She has publicly against body shame a couple of times.

In March this year, she even called out body-shammers at her Miami concert and played a video of herself stripping down to a bra.

为了反抗body shame，Billie还在今年三月份迈阿密演唱会中当众播放一个自己脱衣的视频，为抵制女性因为身材被嘲笑所遭受的羞耻。

视频同期声是这样说的：

"Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it. Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me.

If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. Though you've never seen my body, you still judge it, and judge me for it. Why?"

“有的人讨厌我穿什么，有的人喜欢。有的人用我的身材让别人丢脸，有的人用它让我羞愧。穿一件舒服宽松的衣服，就不是女人了？没有看到过我的身体，却用它来评价我，凭什么？”

小小年纪的Billie真的是很有态度了。

拿奖拿到手软的实力就是对body shammers最强有力的反击。
