Justin Bieber上周发布了一首新歌Lonely，讲述的是少年成名带给他的孤独。

He explores the dark side of his childhood fame.

The lyrics say, Everybody knows my name now

我现在声名远扬

But something about it still feels strange

但始终有些奇怪的地方

Like looking in the mirror

就像你盯着镜子中的自己

Tryna steady yourself and seeing somebody else

想要看清自己却看到了别人一样

And everything is not the same now

一切都不再如初

Bieber wrote the song with Benny Blanco, who also co-wrote "Love Yourself," and with Billie Eilish's brother-producer, Finneas.

没想到Billie的哥哥Finneas也参与了这首歌的创作。

另外这首歌也是Bieber跟Benny Blanco的再次合作，上回他们的合作是那首Love Yourself，这首歌在我们之前的节目里也有分享过。

是写给前女友的，原本歌词是

you should go and f*** yourself

但后来改成了反讽的 love yourself.

而这首歌里Biber真的在歌词里写了F-word，“f***ing lonely”，看来是真的感受到了深深的孤独。

Bieber became famous when he was only 15 years old.

Music executive Scooter Braun discovered him when he accidentally clicked on one of his YouTube videos.

Bieber's talent quickly turned him into a teen idol.

But becoming a superstar at such a young age created huge difficulties as he struggled to deal with growing up in the public eye.

被经纪人Scooter Braun不小心点到，发掘了他，后来Bieber就出名了。

他单亲家庭长大，十二三岁就开始接触毒品，很小的年纪又进入了娱乐圈，一路走来确实承受了很多同龄人所没有的压力和孤独。

Bieber says when Blanco and Finneas first played him their original demo, it was hard for him to listen.

It brought Bieber back to those tough years as a child in the limelight, which had been so hard to get through.

When he went into the studio, Bieber didn't find it easy to sing the track.

The song began as a therapy session where Bieber, Blanco and Finneas talked about how we all try to pretend to be Superman and suppress our feelings.

刚开始对Biber来说很难开口把这首歌唱出来，太赤裸裸了。

Blanco和Finneas还开导了他。

They shared how they feel family and friends are counting on us to be a superhero, but it's okay not to be strong all the time.

Blanco says, "Why do you have to be this superhero? Why can't you be like one of your kids for a second and be like, 'I don't want to do. I just want to cry. I just want to be sad.' There's this weird stigma and this thing where men are supposed to be this. And it's like, 'No, I want to be vulnerable. I want to cry. I want to have a good cry.'"

为什么人人都要做个超人？为什么不能偶尔做个孩子——就是想悲伤、就是想脆弱、就是想哭，想好好地哭？

Bieber started to see the importance of telling his story knowing that everybody gets lonely at times.

He says, "being someone in my position I believe it is powerful to express vulnerability and that's why I believe this song is so powerful.”

能主动展示脆弱面是很有力量的一件事，也能带给同样感受到孤独的千千万万人力量。

这首歌的MV是《房间》Room的小男孩男主Jacob Trembley演的。

他从只有自己的化妆间，走过暗黑的过道，后来到了舞台上。

Towards the end of the video, Bieber sits in an empty theater staring at the embodiment of his younger self.

MV的最后一幕是Bieber坐在空无一人的观众席，静静地看着舞台上年轻时候的自己，仿佛一直以来，只有自己一个人是那个看得懂自己的观众。
