Air China has suspended flights between Beijing and Pyongyang. According to Chinese state media, the state-owned air carrier will suspend their route to North Korea starting April 17th.
A representative from Air China stated the airline chose to temporarily suspend flights because of low sales. They added, route scheduling is based on passenger demand. A published route schedule shows that Air China operates three round-trip flights between the capitals on a weekly basis.
