Allure.com has reported that Nike will add hijabs to its offering of activewear next year. The product is called the Nike Pro Hijab, and it takes into account the particular challenges of wearing the traditional headscarf during athletic competition.

Nike announced plans to release the product in spring 2018. According to Nike, the hijab comes after several high-profile instances of Muslim athletes competing in hijabs in recent years.
