Meet Peter Davies. At 102 years old, he is quite possibly the oldest reading assistant in the country.

He works at this primary school, helping the students with their reading.

Mr. Davies, who served in the Army Air Corps, previously worked at the school as a governor.

He said being a reading assistant was a privilege.

"Now I've been coming for, I don't know, seven years maybe, maybe eight, I don't know, time flys, so it's great fun."

At 100 years old, Peter was awarded a British Empire Medal for his work helping children to read.
