如果遇到这样的情况,你会怎么处理?

You shipped a product to your new customer according to their specifications.

你按照客户产品要求给一家新客户出货。
The customer comes back and says the product did not meet the specifications, but they would accept the product if the price discounted 20%. What would you do?
结果客户反映说产品与要求不符,但是他们表示如果价格打八折,可以接受产品。你该怎么办?
I would first compare the certificate of quality for the shipped product and the specifications of the customer's order to make sure that we shipped the product with the right specifications.
首先我会将出货产品的合格证书与客户订购的产品要求仔细核对,确认我们的产品与要求产品相符。
After confirming that fact, I would present the customer with both documents and ask specifically where they think there is discrepancy.
确认完之后,我会向客户提交这两份文件,并且请对方具体指出他们认为不符的部分。
I would ask if there is any way we could help them while conveying appreciation for their business and willingness to continue serving them.
我会询问是否有其他方法可以帮助他们,同时也感谢对方的惠顾,并且表示今后我们将愿意继续为他们服务。
The new customer you and your superior have been working on for months finally is ready to place an order.
你和你的上司花了好几个月的时间极力说服一家新客户,他们终于准备要下订单了。
They want the product delivered immediately on credit.
对方希望赊账并要求你们立即出货。
However, their credit needs to be approved first, but your superior is out of town and you do not have the authorization to ship the product without prepayment. What would you do?
但是,对方的信用必须先经过审核,而你的上司正在出差。如果没有事先付款,你就没有出货的权限。你该怎么办?
I would explain our company policy to the customer and ask them to submit a credit application and to wait for the delivery until their application is approved.

I would assure them I would personally expedite the paperwork and their order would go out as soon as their credit is approved.
我会向他们担保我个人将尽快处理好文件,等许可一通过就立即出货。
If they cannot wait, I would ask them to prepay for shipment.
如果他们不能等,只好请他们先付款。
I would thank the customer for the business and convey our eagerness to fulfill their order as quickly as possible.
我会感谢客户的惠顾,同时也向他们传达我们想尽快完成出货的热切。
