Amy: Do you know the highest mountain in the world?
埃米：你知道世界最高峰是哪个吗？
Jason: Yes. It is Everest, also called Zhumulangma in China. It is 8,844.43 meters above the sea level.
贾森：知道，是Everest，中文叫珠穆朗姆峰，高出海平面8844.43米。
Amy: Wow! That must be really awesome to stand on the top of the mountain to overlook the earth.
埃米：哇！如果站在顶峰向下俯瞰全球应该是很帅的事情。
Jason: Actually, it is impossible because the mountain is covered with snow all year around. And it has heavy fog for most of the time.
贾森：事实上珠峰常年积雪，大部分时间也是大雾天气，不可能看到的。
Amy: Have people set foot on its peak?
埃米：那有人登上过最高峰吗？
Jason: Yes. It has been conquered by many people in history.
贾森：有的，历史上很多人都曾登上去过。
