A distant water clock sounds.

The fragrance fades from the silk curtains and hangings.

Light flickers from a candle.

She thinks of that handsome gentleman gone away for fun.

No place for her to find him!

Even more she hears the sighing rain beyond the screens.

Tiny drops splash the banana.
