看表格写作文是高考英语作文中一种常见的形式。这类作文的特点是，命题者在表格内列出若干个项目，各个项目的要点都用简短的语言说明，要求考生根据表格内的要点写一篇连贯通顺的英语作文。从写作内容上看，这种形式可适用于不同的文体，如记叙文、应用文、说明文等。

考生要写好此类作文，必须先仔细审题，把握好文章的体裁、格式，然后确定内容重点，列出所有要点、涉及的相关词语及其句型，最后组织句子、分好段落、构成篇章。

例题展示：假如你在自己的班级就校服问题进行了调查（survey）,下面是调查结果的统计表，请参考该表写一篇题为 Report on the Survey about Our School Uniform 的报告。

1. 报告必须包含调查表中的主要内容，可以适当增加细节，使内容连贯。

写作指导：
这是属于典型的表格作文，题材贴近考生的生活实际，所有的考生对该话题都应该有所经验、有所感悟。在写这样的表格作文的时候，考生应该遵循以下步骤：

步骤一：审题：按照表格的内容写一篇说明文。

步骤二：编写英文提纲。
1. conducted a survey, school uniform, whether they like it;
2. majority, 60% of them, fashionable, fancy color, neat and tidy, a symbol of student, feel equal, no need to compare blindly;
3. feel uncomfortable, dull, old-fashioned, simple style
4. have no idea

步骤三：将要点扩展成句。
1. I conducted a survey about our school uniform. My aim is to learn whether they like it or not.
2. The majority like it. 60% of them say it is fashionable. The color is fancy. They think it is neat and tidy and serves as a symbol of student. Others hold that we feel equal when dressed in uniform. There is no need to compare blindly.
3. 30% of my classmates don't like the school uniform. They say they feel it uncomfortable to wear school uniform. The color is dull. It is old-fashioned. The style is too simple.
4. The rest of them have no ideas about it. They feel it hard to decide whether they like it or not.

步骤四：运用合适的关联词、过渡语连句成文。最后进行适当的润色和修改。

Recently, I conducted a survey among our classmates about our school uniform, aiming to learn whether they like it or not.

结语：
表格作文看起来比较简单，因为作文中所需表达的要点在表格中都展示得非常清楚。然而，在笔者的教学过程中，很多学生在写表格作文时都表现出不少的弱点，比如照字翻译、要点遗漏、缺乏衔接、结构呆板等。笔者希望通过这篇文章让高考考生对表格作文的写作方法进行一次系统的学习，消除对表格作文的各种困惑以提升全面的英语写作能力。
