短对话综述：本次六级短对话难度变化不大，从技巧上来看还是主要听对话中第二个人说的话，前7题都是听第二人说话是关键然后选出同意替换即可，只有最后一题针对对话的第一个说话提问，在本次的8个小对话中考到了两个but引导的转折句型，考生应该听到but引导的关键句。除此之外从场景的角度来看考查的话题还是生活，工作以及学习三个主要场景，如对话1、2、4、6、7和日常生活话题有关（演出、度假、办卡，野餐，新闻）；对话3、8涉及商务工作；对话5则为校园生活话题（考试）。短对话主要考查学生对事实细节信息的抓取和隐含意义的推理判断，大部分题目答案是可以通过听力原文直接得到的。其中一些主要短语需要注意：pay off"得到好的结果；取得成功"；give sb a free pass"开恩"；try out"尝试；试用"；cut out"计划、安排"；lay off"解雇"等，理解好这些短语对整篇短文听力内容的把握很有帮助，往往一个短对话的关键点就在一个单词或者短语上，所以考生平时还是需要多多积累一些词汇和短语，下面是本次六级短对话详解：
1. W: What a wonderful performance! Your rock band has never sounded better.
M: Many thanks. I guess all those hours of practice in the past month are finally paying off.
