France’s Senate has approved a 3% tax on big tech companies like Google, Amazon and Facebook. It believes the tax could bring in 400 million euros this year. But U.S. President Donald Trump has already ordered an investigation into the levy. And it could open a new trade dispute, with more import tariffs or other restrictions.
