Japan intends to block the Chinese telecom firms Huawei and ZTE from bidding on public contracts for building information systems. A Japanese newspaper says the ban is due to security concerns. China's foreign ministry says the Japanese government has given no indication of such a plan.
With regard to this report, we expressed concern and we will verify the situation. We hope Japan will provide a fair impartial and transparent environment for Chinese and Japanese enterprises win-win cooperation instead of the opposite.
