Wildfires are also affecting the United States. A fire roared with little warning into Northern California city, claiming two lives. Thousands of people scrambled to escape before walls of flames spread from forested hills onto their neighborhoods on Friday. The blaze leveled at least 125 homes, leaving the area smoldering and 37,000 people under evacuation orders. Fire officials warned that blaze would probably burn deeper into urban areas before. There wasn't any hope of containing it but the fire either changed direction or was stopped before it could reach the city center. Officials said the flames were likely to regain strength later in a day. Temperatures are forecast to spike around 43 degrees Celsius. Winds are expected to kick up as well.
