In this episode, I want to teach you an interesting old saying. This is something that we say when someone feels sad about a romantic relationship that has ended.

It's what we say when we are trying to cheer up somebody who is sad that a romantic relationship has ended.

There are many other people—there are plenty of other people—out there in the world for you to meet. That's why we say to someone, "There are plenty of fish in the sea."

It's true: often people do not like hearing that. If somebody is feeling very sad about a certain person—maybe they really wish they could still be with that special person—they might not like to hear this old saying about plenty of fish in the sea.
