Today we are going to talk about verbs that you use in social settings-

you know, when you are with friends and family.

Such verbs show actions such as talking, laughing, and joking.
这些动词表达说话、笑、开玩笑等动作。
English speakers often use verbs such as "talk", "laugh", and "joke" with the preposition "about".
在英语里，经常用“说”、“笑”和“开玩笑”等动词来搭配介词“关于”。
You can talk about a subject, laugh about something, and joke about something.
你可以谈论一个话题，对某件事发笑，或者开某件事的玩笑。
These are three common verb and preposition combinations.
这是三种常见的动词和介词组合。

Let's watch an example of how English speakers might use these words.

Imagine some friends are talking about a strange situation.
