It's the day after a massive turkey dinner

This is a super simple recipe

fry up some roughly chopped garlic and onions

and some finely slice bacon until dark soft and sticky

I like to add the garlic halfway through so it doesn't overcook

then add some roughly chopped red pepper Cajun pepper sweet smoked paprika and a solid pinch of salt and black pepper

whilst that's frying I'm gonna get out my leftover roast turkey and veg

I'm gonna pop my turkey slices and veg into the processor

I'm then going to add my stock and blitz lightly,

I don't wanna mush it I just want to break it down into smaller pieces

after you've blitzed it you can then heat it on the hob

but I'm using a steam blender to do the job all in one go

I'll pour it out into four bowls and serve with crispy smoked bacon and a sprinkling of cheese
