wanted to kind of creep in the house quietly

so I make a whole full English breakfast in a pan

Midnight Pan Cooked Breakfast
也就是午夜英式早餐
from this book Return of the Naked Chef

Still proud the recipes in here man,
现在我还是对这本书里的食谱感到很自豪啊
there still legit, still tested to the hilt
这些食谱现在也还算比较正，比较经得住考验的
So we've got lovely smoked bacon here,
准备了漂亮的烟熏培根
one nice fat rasher per person.
一个人一条肥肥的培根
Also when I came home from the pub and wanted to make this dish
而且，我从酒吧回来，想做这道菜的时候
when it was created, speed was of the essence
做这道菜的时候，速度是关键
so I would half cut a sausage in half
所以我会把香肠切成两半
and then i can open it out,
接下来把它掰开
now what does that give me?

That gives me more surface area,

More space?

No, more space actually that's true.

Very good, but it means more crispiness,
很好，但它的意思是更酥脆
so were going to put the sausage in the pan,
那我们先把香肠下锅
we've got the bacon in the pan
锅里刚刚已经下了培根了
and all...you don't really need to add oil,
而且……我们不需要放油
you can add just a little drizzle if you want,
实在相放的话可以随便滴几滴
just to kind of help it along
让它起个辅助作用
and as the fat starts rendering from the bacon and sausage
当培根和香肠里的脂肪开始析出油以后
then we can start thinking about
接下来我们就可以考虑
putting our tomatoes and our mushrooms in
把番茄和香菇放进去了
what's really important about this stage
这个部分最重要的是
is that we just get really wonderful colour and caramalisation,
我们可以煎出非常漂亮的色泽
I can smell the smokiness already
现在我已经能够闻到烟熏的味道了
I'm going to go in with mushroom, tomatoes,
现在放蘑菇，番茄
we want to get colour, the mushrooms are coming along quite nicely
我们要的是颜色，香菇的颜色也开始变漂亮了

Bacon's looking nice, look at that. Yummy

It takes about 7 minutes, maybe a little bit longer in the wind
差不多要煎7分钟，在风里煎的时间可能要长点
Let's turn it all over,
我们来把它们都翻个面儿
the sausage's are looking gorgeous.
香肠简直太漂亮了
I'm just going to pop the bacon to one side
我把培根都放一边了
and here's the exciting bit
现在，激动人心的时刻到了
We're going to crack these eggs in and around it
我们要把鸡蛋打进去把它们围起来
and they're all going to join up to make one giant egg
它们就会变成一个超级大的蛋
which then in turn makes a giant fried breakfast frisbee
最后则会变成一个巨型的早餐煎飞盘
And what is that?
什么是飞盘
You know what a Frisbee is!
你知道飞盘的呀
So if we move the pan around, the eggs kind of run a little bit
稍微晃一下锅，鸡蛋也会跟着散开
Normally I'd only do two eggs per person here guys
通常，一个人的话我会打两个鸡蛋
I'm putting an extra one in here
但是今天我多打了一个
just because they're so good and fresh that they're not moving anywhere
因为它们实在太新鲜太好了，所以根本就没有散开
if I just get the tongs in here
手里有钳子的话
you can just break the eggs and move the white along to fill up the gaps.
你可以把蛋打散，让蛋白去填补锅里的空白
There we go
好了
I'm just going to season it with some black pepper
撒点儿胡椒，调一下味儿
I am going to season the eggs with a little salt,
再给鸡蛋撒点儿盐调味
oh and the tomatoes
啊，还有番茄
Look at that, I mean it is a thing of beauty
看看，多美啊
It does smell nice
闻着确实很香
It does smell very nice

I'm going to pop this in the oven to lightly cook it
现在把它放进烤炉，稍微烤一下
Now I can sit down for some bacon
现在我可以坐下来吃点儿培根了
But I haven't made this for your dinner
但是这个不是给你做的呀
This is not like serving Lord Buddy
这可不是给Buddy大人吃的
Come on then, Hello Sir let me give you your very own feast
来吧，大人，请让我为您呈上您的专属大餐吧
The nice thing about this meal,
这顿饭的好处在于
this will be enough for serving,I'd put that in the middle of 4 people,
就我们做的这个，就已经够……我会把它端到四人桌的桌上
The kids only take a little bit, adults a bit more greedy
小孩子也就吃一点点，大人胃口大点儿
It's a really really, lovely lovely way to cook
做起来真的是超级超级方便
This is what we want to achieve,
这就是我想要做成的样子
I still want softness in our eggs but I want them just over easy
我希望蛋里面还是比较软的，只要不随便流就可以了
the great thing is you can just serve it as your giant Frisbee here,
好的是，你可以就这样把它当成你的巨型飞盘端上桌
I quite like this with brown sauce, ketchup, a rack of toast
但我比较喜欢配上布朗沙司、番茄酱和几片面包
knife and fork dude
刀叉，兄弟
Tuck in big boy.
