Tokyo Sky Tree is a television broadcasting tower and the tallest tower in japan
东京的晴空塔是一座电视塔，同时也是日本最高的塔
even though it opened up a few years ago in 2012
尽管早在2012年这里就对游客开放了
it still has hundreds and thousands of people visited every day
现在每天仍有成千上万的游客前来观光
which means to get up to the top it can take a while

So when you first come to Sky Tree

you have to get one of these ticket thing handout

because it's just to control how many of you can get into the top of the observatory

and I came here around 1:30
我差不多是1点半来的
and I got this ticket which is from 15:30 to 16:00 I can buy my ticket

So I definitely recommend you to preorder your tickets online
所以我强烈建议大家提前在网上预订
and you can preorder it I think around 2 months prior to your visit
预订的话，我觉得可以提前2个月左右预订
for foreign tourists, you can pay extra money around $8 u.s.
外国游客的话，可以额外交8美元
get a fast pass and skip the line
买一个快速通道卡，避免排队
So once it's finally your time slot
等到了你买票的时间段
you can enter and start lining up to get your ticket
就可以进去排队买票啦
So you think you are nearly there
你以为快到你了
but then you realize the line is like a zigzag
但是你会发现队拍成了“之”字型
so you have to go there, and then back and then there and then back
你得先到那边拍，然后回到这里，再到那边，再回到这边
and then finally get to the tickets
最后才能到买票的窗口
So I went on a weekend
我是周末来的
but I definitely recommend you guys to go on a weekday
但我强烈建议大家工作日来
as lines will be a little bit shorter
因为那个时候排队的人会少点儿
but even so I got so tired of seeing people everywhere I went
但即便拿到了票，无论走到哪里都是人，我已经看得有点累了
that I'm not quite sure if the time and money spent into it was worth it
我不确定花这么长的时间这么多钱是否划算
So I'm finally here in Sky Tree
我终于到塔上来了
and it took me around 45 minutes in the line and finally purchased the ticket and come up here
我排队，买票加上来差不多花了45分钟
the view is really good
这里视野真的不错
however I feel like there are a lot of other buildings that are free
但我觉得很多别的建筑也能俯瞰东京
and less tourists and less busy
人没有这么多，也没有这么挤
So around the Sky Tree you also have a lot of restaurants and shops
在晴空塔周围有很多餐厅和店铺
but even so there is just so many people
但即便如此还是到处都是人
and everywhere you go is crowds and these lines
无论走到哪里，都是人山人海，都要排队
but I've found this really nice place on the 30th floor
但我在这栋楼的30层发现了一个非常好的地方
where you can get a free view of Sky Tree and the whole city
可以免费眺望晴空塔和这座城市的风光
another tip is to take a stroll from Sky Tree to Asakusa
还有一个建议是从晴空塔转到浅草去
it's only a 15-minute walk but you can enjoy the local streets in between
走路只要15分钟，沿途可以观赏当地的街景
and get a great view of Sky Tree from Asakusa as well
从浅草也能非常清楚地看到晴空塔
so right now we're at Golden Gai
现在我们来到了金盖区
and this is a very popular place for foreigners to visit when they travel to Japan
外国人来日本旅游都很喜欢来这里
as you can experience Japanese nightlife

and one of these small Japanese bars
还有这种小型的酒吧
however there's one thing that you have to be careful about is the cover charge
然而，要注意的是餐位费
so usually in Japan the cover charge is around 300 yen
日本的餐位费一般在300日元左右
but in this area in Golden Gai it's a little bit expensive
但是在金盖区会贵一点
and it can be as high as a thousand yen or more

Golden Gai does have a fun and unique atmosphere

so my tip would be to go to places that have a smaller table charge

or check out these other local backstreet alleys

where you can get small nibles and drinks

and they are called Yokocho in Japanese
那种地方在日语里叫“横丁”(即小巷)
these rather back alleys filled with small bars and restaurants
这种有很多小吧和餐厅的后街
are scattered all around Tokyo
东京到处都是
and it's a great to experience a more local side of Tokyo
来这里体验东京接地气的一面是再好不过了
another thing to avoid is when the people approach you on the streets
另一个要注意的地方就是当你走在街上有人过来拉客的时候
they normally approach you and say the restaurant is really really cheap
他们通常会走过来跟你说他们的饭菜超级便宜
and they'll take you and give you further discounts
他们会带你过去，并且给你更低的折扣
but sometimes they ends up being more expensive
但有的时候他们最后跟你要了高价
and they put sneaky charges in between
还会跟你变相收费
