you probably don't want to search on every single meal

so I've come up with five ways you guys can eat cheaper in Japan
所以，我给大家整理了在日本怎么吃便宜的五种方法

eating a good meal in Japan doesn't have to be expensive
在日本要吃好一顿饭不一定要很贵
Japanese supermarkets have lots of pre-made food
日本的超市都有很多现成的饭
like Obento, Onigiri, Donbuli, chicken skewers and much much more
比如有便当、饭团、盖浇饭、鸡肉串等等等等
and the average price is around 300 yen
而且平均都在300日元左右
Japanese sandwiches also have pretty unique fillings
日式三明治里面的料也很特别
like deep-fried pork cutlet and fruit
有炸猪排，水果等等
if you want a healthier option, try the sweet potato
如果你想吃得更健康，那就尝一尝这个红薯
It looks small but trust me and fills you up so much
看着很小，但相信我，你一定能吃得很饱
or try the cup fruits and salads
或者也可以尝尝水果杯或沙拉
so here is a tip
这里有个小窍门
if you go to the supermarket around closing time
如果你在超市快打烊的时候去
you will see lots of the food discounted with these stickers on it
就会看到很多贴了这种标签的吃的都在打折
if you want to sit and eat at a nice place for a reasonable price
如果你想去一个体面点儿又不那么贵的地方吃
try restaurant floor and a train station building
那就去餐饮层或是车站
or a nearby shopping mall or department store
或是附近的商场和百货大楼
there are all kinds of restaurants
那里有各种各样的餐厅
so you can find something to suit everyone's taste in one place
你会发现那里网罗了适合各种口味的吃的
the average price here is 1000 yen
价格平均在1000日元左右
so it's quite cheap for proper meal and a nice environment to sit in
这个价格算是比较实惠的了，东西也好吃，环境也很舒适
check out some of these restaurants of a great food at a reasonable price

if you go to the restaurants during lunch

it's generally cheaper than dinner

Now when you think of fast food

you probably think of McDonald's and KFC, Burger King
你可能会想到麦当劳，肯德基或是汉堡王
but since you're in Japan
但既然是在日本
why not try Japanese stout fast food
为什么不尝一下日本特色的快餐呢
like a bowl of soba noodles which is made out of black wheat
比如一碗黑麦做的荞麦面，
you can also choose from a variety of toppings
还可以选各种各样的配菜
or how about a bowl of Udon noodles
或者来碗乌冬面怎么样
here are some of my recommended fast food chain for Udon and Soba

and of course we have to have sushi on the list right

if you're in Japan

you're most likely going to try sushi from the homeland
你极有可能要尝一尝正宗的寿司
and a cheap yet delicious way is the 100 yen conveyor belt sushi stores
又便宜又好吃的一种寿司就是100日元的回转寿司啦
next we got to get to popular street food takoyaki on the list as well
接下来要说的就是人气很高的街头小吃章鱼烧啦
in some areas in Japan it's harder to find street food
日本的有些地方很难看到街头小吃
but this takoyaki chained shop should be around in most areas
但是大部分地区都有这个章鱼烧连锁店
another very popular fast food in Japan is Japanese curry
日本另一个非常受欢迎的快餐就是日式咖喱饭
if you're hungry this will definitely fill you up
饿了的话，吃这个绝对能吃饱
try C&C curry if you're looking for a career change shop in Japan
如果你想尝一尝日本的咖喱连锁餐厅，可以去C&C 咖喱餐厅
when you see stores with a vending machine ordering system
如果你看到一家餐厅前有自助点菜机
it generally means the shop is cheaper
通常表示这家店比较便宜
just be aware sometimes they don't have English or pictures on it
只是要注意一下，有时候点菜机上没有英文或是图片
so it might be hard to order
所以要点菜的话可能有点困难
tempura in Japan is a very popular dish
天妇罗在日本也是一道非常受欢迎的菜
and this shop here sells really good tempura at a really good price
这里的这家店的天妇罗真的相当好吃，而且价格也很实惠
ramen is also a delicious and cheap way to eat out
在外面吃的话，拉面也是又好吃又便宜的东西
don't forget to try to tsukemen in as well
别忘了尝一尝日式沾面
which is ramen dipped into a dipping sauce

it's hard to choose which Ramen shop to eat at when there is so many in Japan
日本有超级多的拉面馆，所以要选一家估计有点难
so here are some popular ones to help you guys out

another very common fast-food chain you see in Japan is Gudong
日本另一种比较常见的快餐连锁是牛肉饭
basically it's rice topped off of beef and onions
差不多就是盖了牛肉、洋葱的米饭
Yoshinoya, Matsuya and Sukiya are the main Gudong chains in Japan
吉野家，松屋和好家是日本主要的几家牛肉饭连锁餐厅
Chinese food chains are a good option
中餐连锁也是一个不错的选择
when you want to eat a sit meal or different variety of foods
如果你想坐下来吃顿饭，或是吃点不一样的的话
you should be able to find those Chinese food chain around Japan
在日本各地都能找到这种中式餐厅
The environment isn't as nice as the restaurants
环境虽不如饭店的好
but at least you have a place to sit
但至少有个坐的地方
and if you really miss your hamburgers and fries
如果你真的怀念汉堡和炸薯条
then try some of the Japanese hamburger chain shop
可以尝一尝日式汉堡连锁餐厅
like Mos Burger, Lotteria, Freshness Burger and First Kitchen

family restaurants are very affordable restaurant
家庭餐厅的价格也非常实惠
and despite the name they are actually for everyone, not just families

they have all kinds of food from Japanese to Western

and they have appertizers and mains and even desserts

so they have a much wider selection than the standard restaurant

if you're hungry they have large portions to fill you up

and if you add an extra 200 yen you can get or you can drink

and most family restaurants are open 24 hours

so you can simply chat away for hours over a light snack and drink

last but not least we have Japanese bakeries now

this is my weakness

because every time I go past the Japanese bakery

I always want to go in and buy bread

so I definitely recommend to try the Japanese bread if you're in Japan
所以来日本的话，我强烈推荐大家尝一尝日式面包
and of course you can get a cheap meal from the convenience shop
当然了，在便利店也能买到很便宜的饭
however since everyone knows about them
但是因为大家都知道了
I thought I would give you guys some other alternatives
