TEXT:In North Korea, thousands of children were on their feet and clapping as they welcomed leader Kim Jong-Un to a concert. There were flowers. All wore the communist youth uniform of a white shirt and red scarf and bestowed Kim with one. The festivities in Pyongyang took place as a U.S. based advocacy group accused the reclusive state of using a caste system to rank citizens based on their political backgrounds. The Committee for Human Rights in North Korea report also accused the government of using punishing those deemed disloyal to the leadership. Earlier in the week, North Korea threatened to attack South Korea's media outlets for suggesting Kim was using the children's event as propoganda to cement his leadership. Sixteen year old Melissa Bassi was killed and 10 others wounded in the attack on this vocational training institute in Brindisi. The attack horrified the country and sparked speculation that it was the work of organised crime gangs. However, Italian media reported on Thursday that a 68-year-old man has been taken into custody for the bombing amid news of a possible confession. The man, whose motive has been described as a personal vendetta, is reportedly married with two children. TEXT:Sultan Kosen, the world's tallest man since 2009, has grown another two inches in the past three years. Today he stands 8-foot-3-inches tall or 2 metres and 51 centimeters. But the 29-year-old Turk has received good news: after multiple surgeries he has finally stopped growing. Kosen's continuous growth was caused by a brain tumor producing growth hormones. It made him reach his father's height at the age of seven, and forced him to spend his childhood in solitude. He shared his story during an event held by Guinness World Records in Hong Kong.
