本视频是美国总统巴拉克·奥巴马在莫尔豪斯学院2013年毕业典礼上的演讲。莫尔豪斯学院是美国黑人运动先驱马丁·路德·金的母校，也是一所传统上招收黑人的美国私立男子文理学院。奥巴马作为美国历史上第一位黑人总统，到此鼓励黑人学生。他告诫黑人青年，不要把种族歧视当做个人失败的借口，要努力成为一个好男人、好丈夫、好父亲。

- But your dreams if you are sick or get in an accident

- But we're going to need some doctors to make sure it works too

- We know that too many young men in our community continue to make bad choices

- Sometimes I wrote off my own failings

- As just another example of the world trying to keep a black man down

- I had a tendency sometimes to make excuses for me not doing the right thing

- But one of the things that all of you have learned over the last four years

- Is there's no longer any room for excuses

- I understand there's a common fraternity creed here at Morehouse:

- Not because the bitter legacy of slavery and segregation have vanished entirely
