本视频是美国著名喜剧演员斯蒂芬·科尔伯特在弗吉尼亚大学2013届毕业典礼上的演讲。演讲中，科尔伯特尽显"冷面笑匠"本色，各种冷笑话、双关语、绕口令源源不断，台下掌声雷动。科尔伯特首先是将同弗吉尼亚大学相关的事物，竭尽所能地挖苦了一通，连后面坐着的弗吉尼亚大学校长、以及弗吉尼亚大学创始人兼美国国父之一的托马斯·杰斐逊也不能幸免。最后科尔伯特转述了杰斐逊的一番话，语气看似挖苦，实则以此勉励在场的毕业生们，为他们提供未来道路上的建议。
