本视频是美国著名作家、影剧导演及影剧监制乔斯·韦登在卫斯理大学2013届毕业典礼上的演讲。十三分钟的演讲看似沉重，不断提起死亡等话题，实际上是勉励毕业生不要一味地去否认死亡等生命中不可或缺的另一面。他认为人生是生和死，积极和消极之间连起的一条直线，人只有明白了这种联系，尊重生活中的一切，理解它，看透它，感激它，才能过得开心。

- Peace comes from the acceptance of the part of you that can never be at peace
