- That's just the name of the chamber that the blood ends up in.

- And it came into the right atrium from a giant vessel up top called the superior vena cava.
- 血液从大静脉进入右心房，上边的大静脉叫上腔静脉
- And this is a vein, of course,
- 很明显，这是静脉
- because it's bringing blood towards the heart.
- 这是输送进入心脏血液的
- And down here, the inferior vena cava.
- 下方的静脉是下腔静脉
- So these are the two directions that blood is going to be flowing.
- 这是血液流动的两个方向
- And once blood is in the right atrium,
- 一旦血液进入右心房
- it's going to head down into the right ventricle.
- 就会接着流入右心室
- So this is the right ventricle, down here.
- 下边这里就是右心室
- This is the second chamber of the heart.
- 这是心脏的第二个房室
- And it gets there by passing through a valve.
- 右心室和右心房之间，有一个瓣膜
- And this valve, and all valves in the heart,
- 心脏中所有的瓣膜
- are basically there to keep blood moving in the right direction.
- 都是为保证血液能流向正确的方向
- So it doesn't go in the backwards direction.
- 使得血液不至于逆流
- So this valve is called the tricuspid valve.
- 这个瓣膜叫三尖瓣
- And it's called that because it's basically got three little flaps.
- 之所以叫三尖瓣，是因为它由三个瓣膜构成
- That's why they call it tri.
- 才有词首tri-（意思是三）
- And I know you can only see two in my drawing,
- 大家可能只能看到两个瓣膜
- and that's just because my drawing is not perfect.
- 这是手画的缺点
- And it's hard to show a flap coming out at you,
- 很难画一个正对你们的瓣膜
- but you can imagine it.
- 大家可以自己想象一下
- So blood goes into the right ventricle. And where does it go next?
- 好，血液进入右心室以后又会怎样呢？
- Well after that, it's going to go this way.
- 在这之后，血液来到这里
- It's going to go into this vessel, and it's going to split.
- 通过这条血管，血液兵分两路
- But before it goes there, it has to pass through another valve.
- 不过中间还要通过一个瓣膜
- So this is a valve, right here, called the pulmonary valve.
- 叫做肺动脉瓣
- And it gives you a clue as to where things are going to go next.
- 听到这个名字，大家可能知道血液的下一个目的地在哪里了
- Right? Because the word pulmonary means lungs.
- 肺动脉瓣，很明显跟肺有关
