【词语用法】
一般来说，要表达引起某人对某事的注意时，用call/draw one's attention to。表示用某事引起某人注意时，用bring the matter to one's attention，注意两者不可倒过来使用。
He wants to call her attention to the matter.
他想引起她对这事情的注意。
不可以说I want to bring his attention to the matter.
pay attention to是固定的搭配词组，不可以用其他介词替换，如pay attention on。除了指“注意”，pay attention to还指“向女子献殷勤”，如pay his attentions to the girl.要注意his后的attentions用的是复数形式；
有时候pay attention to后不直接加宾语，而是加动名词，to作为介词。
I advise you to pay more attention to recording new uses of old words.
我建议你要更注意记录旧词的新用法。
为引起大机关或大商店的某人或某部门注意，在写信时可在称呼语后面或后面的下一行或两行加Attention of ...，如Attention of Accounting Department。
【错句举例与错句分析】
错句：Focus is about bringing attention to the business or businesses that you run.
纠正：Focus is about drawing your attention to the business you run.
翻译：焦点在于把你的注意力集中到自己的生意上去。
分析：常用call/draw one's attention to something。
二.transform：vt. 改变，转换
【词义辨析】
change, alter, vary, convert, modify, transform, turn,
change: 指任何变化，完全改变，强调与原先的情况有明显的不同。
alter: 常指轻微的改变，强调基本上保持原物、原状的情况下所进行的部分改变。
vary: 暗示不规则或断断续续地变。
convert: 指进行全部或局部改变以适应新的功能或用途。指信仰或态度时，强调较激烈、大的改变。
modify: 强调起限定作用的变化或变更。指细小的变化，常含“缓和、降调”的意味。
transform: 指人或物在形状、外观、形式、性质等方面发生的彻底变化，失去原状成为全新的东西。
turn: 指外形、颜色、气味、性质等方面的变化，比change更通俗。
reform, transform,
reform: 指去恶扬善、弃旧图新，使变得完美，多用于社会、政治、经济方面，如体制、法律、机构等的改革。
transform: 指既改变外部形体，又改变内部性质或功能。

1.His plans were transformed overnight into reality.
他的计划迅速变为现实。
2.The magician transformed the frog into a princess.
魔术师把青蛙变成了公主。
3.Success and wealth transformed his character.
成功和财富改变了他的性格。
