One day, a dog went to a meat shop.

The man in the shop gave a piece of meat to the dog.

The dog took it and walked home happily.

There was a small river near its home.

The dog walked on a piece of wood to cross the river.

It saw another dog in the water.

That dog had a piece of meat in its mouth, too.
那只狗嘴里也有一片肉
“That piece of meat is better than mine, ” it thought.
那片肉比我的这片更好 它想着
“I’m going to get it.”
我要得到那片肉
The dog opened its mouth.
这只狗张开了嘴巴
It wanted the other dog’s meat.
他想要另一只狗的肉
Its meat dropped into the water.
它的肉掉进了水里
That’s right. The dog lost its meat.
是的 这只狗失去了他的肉
