1.for double his last offer

我们经常听到别人说“xx拿到了一家公司的offer”这个offer指的是 job offer工作机会；工作邀请。offer 在这句话中的意思是“出价，报价”比如：make an offer。 double 双的，两倍的，for double his last offer就是"他上一次报价的两倍" 的意思。

2.What do you say...?

这是个口语中很常见的表达。也可以说：what would you say...? used to ask someone if they agree with a suggestion 用来表示询问某人是否同意这个建议，“你怎么看，你觉得呢”等意思。

比如：What do you say we all go to a movie? 我们都去看电影吧，你觉得呢？

再比如：What would you say to a meal out? 我们出去吃怎么样？

What do you say to that? 你觉得的我刚才的提议怎么样？

Uh, I take that as a "no," then? 嗯，那我就当你不同意了。

3.make one's position very clear

position常见的意思是“位置”， 在这里的意思是“立场，态度”，看下它的英文释义：an opinion on or an attitude towards a particular subject 对待一件特定的事情的观点和态度。

例如：

She has made her position very clear. 她的立场很明确。

所以这里卡尔的意思是：我已经跟你老板把我的立场讲的很明确了，房子我是不会卖给你们的。

4.take a bath, hippie

You in the suit. Yes, you. Take a bath, hippie!

刚看还纳闷老板穿的西装革履的为啥让他洗个澡呢？

那我们需要先理解hippie这个单词，hippie: a person，especially in the 1960s， who rejected the way that most people live in Western society, often having long hair, wearing brightly colored clothes, and taking illegal drugs. 西方社会，尤指60年代，一些反抗习俗的人们。通常都留着长头发，衣着鲜艳，并且服用非法毒品。

这些人通常都群居在一起，生活环境较差这就意味着洗澡对于他们来说是有些困难的。

这里卡尔使用“Take a bath, hippie!”是在侮辱那个老板。 难怪工人小弟惊慌失措赶紧站队表明：“ I'm not with him. 我跟他不是一伙儿的”

现今，有很多酒店的bathroom 都放一个这样的牌子"Take a bath, you dirty hippie." 当然了这里只是个玩笑。

也可以说Take a shower, you dirty hippie.

5.I'm not with him

-- Yes, you. Take a bath, hippie!

-- I'm not with him.

be with somebody=to support someone and agree with what they say, 支持某人或者同意某人说的话。例如：

I'm with you 100%. We're on the same page.

我完全赞同你, 我们看法一致。

We're all with you on this one.

在这个问题上我们都支持你。

6.out to

This is serious! He's out to get your house.

out to= fixed in one's purpose or belief 目标或信念坚定，有种不达目的誓不罢休的感觉。比如：

eg. She's out to get the certificate. 她下定决心一定要拿到那个证书。

7.When I'm dead

这里的when I'm dead. 就是字面上的意思，"当我死的时候"，相同意思的表达还有over my dead body= used to say that you are determined not to allow something to happen，当你说这句话的时候，你的意思是坚决不同意某事发生。表示强烈反对。意思就是“如果你想做某事，你就得从我的尸体上踏过去。”

eg. You can play video games when I'm dead. 等我死了你再玩电子游戏吧

-- Let's invite her to dinner. - 我们请她共进晚餐吧。

-- Over my dead body! -- 除非我死了!

8.take ... as...

-Tell your boss, he can have our house.

-Really?

-When I'm dead!

-I'll take that as a maybe.

这里工人小哥说：“I'll take that as a maybe." 我就当你说可能吧，其实前面他也这么说了一次 (放视频)

My boss will be happy to take this old place off your hands, and for double his last offer!

What do you say to that?

Uh, I take that as a "no," then? 我就当你说 no了。

take A as B = 把 A当成 B。比如：I'll just take it as a compliment. 我就当你是在夸我了。
