Collin: I'm still not sure whether I should apply to a graduate school in France. You've been there for two years. What do you think of your study in France?
Linda: I find it worthwhile. France has been a popular study-abroad destination because of its many excellent institutions.
Collin: I also have to consider the tuition fees since I don't come from a wealthy family. Are the tuition fees in France very high?
Linda: I think they are lower than in, let's say, the US, except in a handful of highly selective universities.
Collin: What about accommodation? I'm also concerned about the cost of living.
Linda: Lodging in the university residence halls would be cheaper than living outside campus. The average expense is about 100 to 150 euro per month.
Collin: Maybe I can afford that. I also want to ask you about the application and student visa.
Linda: Application procedure varies from one institute to another, so you'll need to look them up on their websites. In order to get your visa, you need to present an application form, your passport and language proficiency credentials.
