OK, I'd like to talk about my PDA. A PDA is a personal digital assistant, which is a small computer. Really it's my second brain: I carry it everywhere with me because it's so useful and it helps me think. It's very convenient because I can put it in my pocket, it's not like a laptop which is very heavy. It's also useful for both teachers and students. It's got lots of functions; it's got a date book and calendar so I know what I'm supposed to be doing every day; it's got a phone book so I can put in phone numbers & emails & people's addresses; it's got a 'to do' list so I know what I'm supposed to be doing and I can keep memos in it for useful information that I want to keep. It's also got a calculator and an e-book reader so I can download electronic books from the web and read them on the bus. Also on the bus I read my online newspapers; every day I download information from newspapers on the Internet and then I can read them on my PDA. Things that students might like: you can also play computer games on a PDA. I've got one about shooting down submarines & the other one is a maths game. Also I have a little camera that plugs onto the bottom of my PDA, so I can take photographs wherever I am.
